PTCRB certification

PTCRB full name is PCS Type Certification Review Board, it is established in March 1997, and added request for GSM850 in May 2001, this is one of important milestone for America Standards Organization development. For similar with GCF, PTCRB also composed by operators and some famous mobile phone manufacturers, and including some approved laboratories. 

The member of PTCRB can be divided for two classes: Full or Active Member and Passive or Observing Member. The mainly responsibility of PTCRB members is: 1.Establish PTCRB certification requirements; 2. Establish lab approved standard; 3. update standard through four meetings per year; 4 Issue decisions.
